Please check out my EP! (Sneapster guest solos + re-amp)

I know the folks in here might disagree, but I think some strategic mid cuts are needed on the guitars to give more air and space to the mix. That and the vocals may need some more delay/verb to open them up a lil!

After listening to this a few times the style kinda grows on you. This morning it bugged me that the low end wasnt really there but ive had it playing for a while and im really digging it. The productions not perfect but i think that gives it a little bit more individuality and imo thats what is making me like it more and more...killer shit marcus

righteous! I'm diggin' this stuff man, right up my alley! sweeet, sweet riffage and the solo's are fucking awesome. props to all you guys. do want to hear it with more lows and ermz' master! \m/

Sounds baddass, man! I can't think of any criticism that hasn't already been mentioned, other than after you boost the bass, boost it a little more! :kickass:

Thanks dudes, one thing I'm doing that's already making a world of difference is dropping the HPF on the guitars from like 120 to 100 - again, the result of paranoia about overpowering low-end, but it certainly helps to get outside feedback to get some perspective :D

Pretty much the mix of all the best parts of all the metal bands I love. In other words...

...The Emissary would approve. ;) Marcus knows how big a compliment that is.

arg, too late to the party, no download anymore^^
soundwise i cant tell too much about myspace BUT i think the guitartone is ace (at least trough myspace and my imagination of of the high end could sound ;D )
lack some low end too...

riffing and songwriting is awesome -> Forver Bound = WIN...even if im not a fan of that drum intro...

vocals are sick!

your stuff will end up in my playlist, im quite sure about that!

cant give too much comment about the soli now, since im listining to the songs as whole now
...sry guys haha..but im sure they are great ; )

Hahaha, I guess it's a European thing :D Thanks a lot Mago, and of course Andrew, you know me all too well :kickass:

Yknow it just dawned on me. This has been one of the most cleverly disguised 'Rate my mix' threads put in the general forum I've seen. Worked too, tons more views than your average 'check out my CD/song/whatever' thread gets :)
