Hi,
I know, a tosser type of question, but I am actaully interested what the majority of readers are into. Is it the orchid opeth or the ghost.... opeth?????
Did Mr Wilson make a differnece, was it resented ot embraced.
Give me a clue:zombie:

Morningrise/Blackwater Park
Orchid/Damnation/Ghost Reveries/Deliverance
Still Life/My Arms, Your Hearse

I can listen to the top 2 any time, the middle 4 most of the time and I need to be in a specialist mood to listen to the other 2.

A+ Still Life
A My Arms Your Hearse/Blackwater Park
A- Ghost Reveries/Deliverance
B+ Orchid
B Morningrise
NR Damnation

IMO - everyone's different though...

Still Life/MAYH
Blackwater Park
Morningrise
Orchid
Ghost Reveries
Deliverance
Damnation

They are all pretty close. BP has been getting more plays lately, as has Morningrise. I just get in different moods. For a while, Damnation was waaaay higher. I feel like I've been ignoring Deliverance lately...

Me too, about time I rediscovered it I think!

It's always struck me as rather cold and dry... if that makes any sense. But I need to put it on repeat play like I've had Morningrise recently.

Still Life

-------- These 3 often interchange between eachother regularly --------
Morningrise
Blackwater Park
Deliverance
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Damnation
My Arms, Your Hearse
Orchid
Ghost Reveries

Yup, makes sense! Good songs, but there is just something forgetful about it, even though I enjoy it more than the albums lower on my list I still think about listening to them more than I think about Deliverance or something... weird!

Blackwater Park
Still Life
Ghost Reveries
MAYH
Damnation
Deliverance
Morningrise
Orchid

i could change my mind daily on this. BWP #1 for sure, the rest all switchup

A Fair Judgement & BTPISIO make Deliverance a great album. Without these tracks it would just be Blackwater Park's heavier brother.

Totally agree on this! BTPISIO has always been the stand out track of that album for me personally, and if I just listen to a random track off it, it will be that one (not very random then really, but meh...)

GHOST REVERIES
DELIVERANCE
DAMNATION
BLACKWATER PARK
STILL LIFE
MY ARMS, YOUR HEARSE
MORNINGRISE
ORCHID

so yeah, they keep getting better with each new album
