Alot of people say that going to fests isnt so much for the bands but the experience.

Not saying it applies here but it might.

i just featured a couple bands. i enjoyed some others, like ingrowing, dead, defeated sanity, macabre... i wasnt about to do detailed reviews on every band though. it would take for ever and no one cares. so i wrapped it up in about 2 pages so people would actually read it.

edit for gfad the ninja: it was a great experience. meeting people (including the UMers obviously), buying merch, etc... MDF is a great example of there being more to a fest than bands. hopefully that came through in the review

Kinda sad I haven't got the chance to go to one this year.
Apparently there's a meet and greet on day one of Bloodstock, so people are more than happy to go on their own because you end up being in company
