Primordial has been the one band this forum continually fellates that I haven't heard a single song by. It's about time I checked them out.

Really melodic stuff, and one of the most emotional vocalists that black metal has to offer, I think.

Also, Zeph, I feel slightly unsure about recommending stuff to you because a lot of the newer stuff that I like have been recommendations from this forum and quite a few have been from you. But have you listened to Hollenthon yet? I've really been digging them. I think they're great modern symphonic black metal. They tend to lean in a more symphonic direction than Obsidian Gate or Nokturnal Mortum, but they still kick ass.
