It's symphonic black metal, but with less black metal tenets than most. Still, it's the kind of stuff Zeph likes (usually).

They're pretty friggin' weird, tbh...I'd call it extreme symphonic metal. Symphonic death is hard to come by, but if you wanna check out some, try Luciferion - The Apostate (basically an EP with I believe their first album or part of it tacked on)

Hollenthon is certainly more death metal than black metal. And I think they're one of those bands were the symphonic aspect is quite superficial
