Geri: If you want to start listening to non-metal music (and i suppose that includes non-gothic too), i reccomend starting with Staind or Radiohead.

@Geri: forget about Staind, they have a few good songs and the singer has a kick ass tattoo, but otherwise completely straight whinery. Radiohead is cool though.
