I thought Frequency was really good. Out of the Furnace was good too. Evil Dead flicks are a blind buy!?!? Classics! Haven't seen Lost in the Sun, but everything else is pretty damn good. Solid haul.

yeah man somehow i've never seen the evil dead series, even on tv back when i was a kid. Army of Darkness is like a part 3 right?

Army of Darkness is the third film yes. First one I saw though, it's one of the best comedy horror films ever made IMO because it's adult enough to enjoy later in life but makes for an awesome gateway for kids into horror etc.

I had the pleasure of renting Evil Dead 1 from the video shop without knowing anything about it or its reputation and watching it with an old housemate. I remember watching eyes agog as the tree scene came out of nowhere, and then cackling like the zombie under the floorboards throughout the rest of it. My housemate sat there mortified, she had never seen anything like it.

Forgot to mention I also grabbed Naruto Origins collection 1 (12 discs) since it was on sale and I've been wanting to watch it properly.
