This time I have done some seven strings stuff for your mixing practice.
(A matter of Noise gate and Noise Reduction)

No vocals this time.

That kick is actually quite similiar to the one on the actual album. What kind of drums did you use?

I used Superior 2.0 (avatar kit) for Cymbals and Toms,
Snare is Steven Slate 3.5 (Metal Kit Snare) and kick drum is triggered with custom Tama samples blended with SSD 3.5 kick
 
Just a quick unmastered mix I did. Might be some peaking and stuff in some parts. Comments/constructive criticism always welcome!

Quick mix to test the behringer pedal
Behringer UM100 into Peavey Rockmaster + catharsis 2off-preshigh
No way to set correctly the gate in the guitars

How'd you achieve that snare? I really dig it, though I think it could do with a bit of reverb to make it less dry.

the snare is stephen slate with some eq and comp? i dont remember :erk: and yes the snare could use some reverb. Ill see if i can get a roomier more aggressive drum sound :D
