What things do you own that you can not afford to lose?
Something that you love so much it would almost destroy
you to lose it?

I know it's stupid being materealistic, but I am! If a fire
started in this appartment I'd freak!! I'd try to get as
many cds with me as possible. Yeah, sure, I could always
buy new ones, but there's something about the first
version you bought of that cd. It's special. It's the one.....

Losing all the sweet loveletters and cards my boyfriend
sent me would also make me feel hollow. No, I don't get
them out too often and read them again and again, but
not having the option of doing it would kill me >:eek:P

Well, I've moved around a lot, and felt like I was living in
acardboardbox, and know what it's like to not have all
your fav stuff available... But what I always kept with me
was this rabbit. No, not a real one >) I have had it with
me since a month after I was born. Right now it is stuffed
at the back of my closeth, but I still have it though....
I don't think I'll ever grow out of it! >:eek:P

Now, what's your most precious thing(s)? Do you have
one special cd, that would be the worst one to lose?
Do you hate all material things? Are you one of those who
only own five things, to feel pure? Hehe....

I don't think anything I have would destroy me if I lost it, maybe old pictures. Of course I would be angry I lost my cd's but if there was a fire the last thing I would be thinking about is what I should grab. I have no rare cd's and I can replace them all so I would not take time to pick them up hehe. Maybe you should put your rabbit someplace easier to get to incase you do have to get it in a hurry Blackspirit :D is its name Wiggles? ;)

It would hurt to lose my CDs because I know I'd never be able to replace them all. I'd live though.

I have a some rare old books that I'd miss a lot.

My piano and guitar would be a major loss, and I have some songs recorded in my sequencer that I don't have anywhere else. I could never reproduce them in their full arrangements, and I'd feel a big hole if they were destroyed.

And a teddy bear my mom made for me when I was a kid.

I think that sums it up.

I'd leave all that in order to save my cats though.

My precious darling books... all the spirituality books and all the history/archaeology/mythology books... oy vey... I'd really hate losing them. I'm very over-protective with my old books. I'd likewise hate to lose my Webster's Third New International Dictionary (unabridged version, mind you, it's BIG and it's HEAVY). I would hate to lose my family photographs as well... and my Sture, my sheep skull.

...I have a fire extinguisher by my bed, though, not to worry. :)

...and yes, I really do.

Well, there is nothing that comes to my mind really... I´d like to have something, but I don´t, it´s everything or nothing, I meen my books are all precious to me, and sp is my CD´s and my computer and my instruments and texts (poems, lyrics, written emotions) and all things I got have a memory worth, as pictures and letters, but none of ´em are more precious than the other, I am a sad person indeed...

Good question though, I´ll think of it and see if anything springs to mind, even if I seriously doubt it...

-phyros (seriously stunned that there is nothing holding him back)

If my flat would burn, first I would try to save my rubbit and my important documents... if I could save more, my guitar... hm, hard to say what I would pick next... I love every bit I collected through the years... but nothing will destroy me if I loose it!!!
I have kissed the death more than once and then you see life in a different way. Material things are nice and everything here has a story to tell, but no matter how deep I would fall, I would get up and carry on walking... I have no problem leaving material things behind, no matter how old and how precious...

To Phyros & Morgana; Whooooh!) Sounds really cool!
I always get attatched to things, it's stupid, and that was
why I asked. It's great to see that you Phyros actually
have nothing special you feel you can't live without...

And just like Morgana I know I would get up and walk
after losing all my things, but there would still be an
empty void... If I don't have the things to remind me of
things I feel like my memories will fade. But that's probably
not true.... They are still there. It's all in my head >:eek:P

Another thing I've thought of is that if I got locked up
somewhere for ages without music.... Would I turn insane
since I can only hear the music in my own head? I think
I'd explode since I wouldn't be able to "hear" the whole
song, I never know a full song by heart.... But still....
I'd have the memories of what the music has given me.....
Shit..... Being locked up withouth music would be my hell!!
I'm twisted, and this time I can't blame NOT having slept...
Maybe sleeping isn't good for me after all?!!! >)

I am not really following you? What do ya mean? :)

You have no material things you can't live without....
There's nothing holding you back )
I think that's great... Sounds so free )

But how do you do it? I wonder what your room
looks like ) Is there nothing that makes you feel
good? That goes for you too Lutz )

I know I don't need all these things,
but I like having them )

Well, I´ll post a few pics from my room in the pic thread, but I have to wait a while since I´ve filled my qoute...:D Nahh, I´ll do it anyway! Soon!!

And Yeah, there are many things that makes me feel good, my whole room does actually! And Yeah Morgana I do feel the same way...:)

My room is a mess really.. :D
The main things would be a tv, computer and a bed, then some worthless junk everywhere which I don't care for, I need to throw it out!...

What makes me feel good? Well..what makes me feel good is to feel that I am loved by people, not something that happens that often unfortunatly..

Things that I never want to lose my CDs, because they're hard to find around here, some pictures of my friends, some band shirts that I had a hard time finding, my guitar that I can do awesome riffs with, and of course friends are something that are precious to me. Just like Phyros, I am a sad person as well... I hope to get better soon, and I don't need any sympathy.

Well, I'd be quite annoyed because about half of my net worth is sitting in my bedroom.

But I'd hate to lose all the emails I have sitting on my computer (including those to my ex-gf), and on that note, the letters back and forth to the same ex-gf. I've a bunch of football jersies, and they can be replaced, but most of them were gifts. But more importantly, the band shirts. Some are easily replaceable, but I just got a Orchid (hell yeah!) shirt on Friday, and that took 2 years to acquire.

This question's interesting for me since this September I'll be placing half of my stuff in storage, selling the other half, and start travelling the world for my company for at least 3 years...

I would be very sad if I lost my national costume  I love it very much. I inherited it from my grandmother, and she got it for her confirmation some time in the 1920's... They don't make the likes of the jewelery on it anymore, and everthing on it is made by hand... So if I got a new one, it wouldn't look the same. But I would survive, of course. ...And then there's a painting I would miss, but I would get over that quite fast.
