No....way. I'm not going to argue about Tool's greatness, because I happen to like them alot, but this here is a perfect example why I think this band is just so overrated. Wouldn't something like old Metallica or Black Sabbath be the Pink Floyd of the metal world? Even so, this statement is just crazy...musically, Tool's songs just aren't that stunning....at all. Good band, nothing more, nothing less.

Dude tool is the pink floyd of the metal world because they are similar in a lot of ways (unlike Metallica and Black Sabbath). I really think Tool will be remembered as much as Pink Floyd.
