Randall 4x12 Isolation cab and silent recording.

Thought some of you guys might be interested in hearing this. It's the new Randall 4x12(looking) isolation box. It has one Celestion V30 inside and sounds a lot better than Randalls previous iso-box. Check the middle of the video to see how it works. And it's actually pretty silent, I'm cranking the Rectifier pretty hard in this video.

This is pretty genius for touring b/c it gives the benefit of looking right (IMO. I'm old school) while having the benefits of an isocab.

Neat idea. Every band I've seen is using either radial or palmer speaker emulation - those are pretty good, but this would actually take that out of the equation and as a bonus your cab is a shit ton lighter as well!

Indeed but again this is aimed towards people who cannot afford the luxury of cranking a 2x12 at more than 0.05 / 10 . I have an Orange Micro Terror and I can't play more than 0.5/10. For people who can crank up their setup, it's obviously useless

The iphone compresses the sound a bit but you get the idea. It's way loud btw.

Sounds a lot better than the smaller Iso cabs. I wonder how it affects the low end tightness though.
