I think it is.

There's no reason to call someone else's post retarded just because you don't like Deliverance. (Like the majority of people here.)
Gah.
I just said it was a GREAT album.
Just not better than Still Life or MAYH.

Which of the three you own already do you prefer ?

If it's Morningrise, then run and buy Orchid.

If it's Ghost Reveries, then you need to take it one step further...

If you dig Ghost of Perdition, Baying of The Hounds, Harlequin Forest, then run and buy Still Life.

If you dig Atonement, Hours of Wealth, Isolation Years, then run and buy Damnation.

If it's Blackwater Park, then you need to take it one step further also...

If you dig the heavyness of a track like Blackwater Park, then go and buy Deliverance.

If you dig the emotion of tracks like Bleak or Dirge for November, then go and buy My Arms, Your Hearse.

Follow that, it says it all. But get Still Life first :D

Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like Still Life is next on my list (it may be out of print but I saw it used at Newbury Comics), then eventually Deliverance, MAYH, Orchid, then Damnation in that order. Then maybe the DVD.

Thanks again for your help

Here's the thing: you can't really go wrong with any Opeth purchase, but just be aware of what kind of sound you're after. For example, if you're really enjoying their softer sounds (ie Harvest from Blackwater Park or Atonement from Ghost Reveries), then get Damnation. If you want to discover their more heavy side, then go for My Arms, Your Hearse or Deliverance.

All in all, I'd recommend Deliverance.
