MTB's are better 
That one can only drive on very hard ground like asfalt, you won't be able to do shortcuts through woods or stuff like that with a race bike

Well this is an MTB hardtail. Still a MTB, an asphalt racing bike looks a bit different and doesn't have any kind of suspension.
What you are talking is about a MTB full suspension, which I would buy if I had the money to buy one made of carbon or some very light material, because I use it mostly instead of the car, so I need something as light as possible yet still a MTB.
