I know that french people are amazed by all the space and large areas of nothing here in Quebec but I guess it's pretty much the same in Germany ?

Money isn´t the problem. There are still so many places to spend holidays and it´s so hard to choose which next. We both like to dive - my bf more than myself I must admit - and it´s pretty obvious that Scotland or Canada is not the right place for doing that...

I don't wish them to go back to the golden days. 3 albums from that era is more than plenty for me. They took that style as far as it will go in FTR.

If the previous trend continues of them incorporating styles from the bands they tour with... then I hope they take a little from Between the Buried and Me and spice things up with a progressive edge.

If I were a fan of Bodom by the time Hate Crew Deathroll rolled around, just to use an example, I'd be pretty disappointed in the band, and I'd be saying the exact same thing he did.

Well, if I was a huge fan of Follow the Reaper / Hatebreeder back in the day and wanted more, but they'd release AYDY / Blooddrunk, I'd also say they need to turn it up a notch and stop releasing half-assed albums to catch my interest again. Was most charismatic post on this thread.

To be completely honest, I thought HCDR was INCREDIBLY mediocre and half-assed (AYDY too at first). And while AYDY is a good album, I definitely don't hold it in the same golden regard as the first three.

What I meant was really that THAT is also opinion based. So what makes FTR musically superior? You can't even say that because to someone else it might be BD or AYDY? that is musically superior. So here we have a dilemma...no one even wants to admit they like AYDY? because that will get them called "OMGHEVINESS KIDS" ?(side statement but shit the same) Sure, FTR is more unique and there is nothing opinionbased in that but what I'm saying is that you really cannot compare those and say one is better, because that already is incorporating your own opinion. This includes Jose's statement that AYDY? has nothing to envy from FTR...which is also opinion.

And yeah that post really wasn't just pointed at you but for everyone arguing opinions in this thread.

I have no opinion to be honest...they are all different albums and I can listen to all of them. I barely listen to Bodom anymore anyways so I guess I ain't entitled to a opinion
