Relentless Reckless Forever (Out March 8th, 2011)

Your personal opinion shines through. And I'd like to argue: You say AYDY? has nothing to envy about FTR. Man that's one hell of a statement there. Next you dress up every supposed pro's of FTR into neoclassical and shred 24/7. I mean come on. I would not describe the pluses of that album by those terms.

This debate can't just go on with arguments like red is prettier than blue or blue is prettier than red. There is no definement to better in art, there are just different properties of which some appear dominant to every individual.

Your buddy says Are You Dead Yet? has nothing to envy about FTR, and that FTR is just neoclassical and shred 24/7. I could just as well say AYDY comes musically nowhere near FTR and is all about trying to be heavy. I could also say You need to recognize brilliant musicianship and not be all blinded by the omg heaviness that's meant to get the kids into the band.

You just pulled a lot of shit out of your ass. If I said FTR is neoclassical and shred 24/7 was an attempt to show that the retarded generalisation about AYDY? beeing just heavy to lurk kids into listening to the band can too be done with the old albums. Of course FTR isn't just that, as well as AYDY? isn't what many people pretend it to be. About HCD beeing the best, sure it's my opinion shining, wasn't this thread about opinion?

But what I don't get is what's wrong with it beeing heavier and how it'd lurk kids into it. I find much easier to get into Bodom with Silent Night, Bodom Night or Hate Me! than with Thrashed, Lost & Strungout or Hellhounds On My Trail.

And, last of all, I can't imagine why some people here act like if the band owed them something and HAD to go back to certain sound.

The next person after this post who argues about old and new bodom is a huge faggot

Steve went first :D

Neochinese reminded me of the intro to Operation Ground and Pound by dragonforce, I always thought that intro sounded very chinese

i would like something between silent night,tl&so,ftr. i mean anything would be good,i mean aydy wasn't that bad to me,it was at 1st, but then i found alot of sweet shit in aydy, then when blooddrunk and tmr came out i was like umm yeah at 1st then i got used to it. Tbh i like all the albums, i think all the albums as whole, all have something good about them. Look at metallica for eg:as they got older they got crappier and crappier, then got decent, and i think as they get old, it will get more american.

Most classic chinese music is written on the pentatonic scale according to my old music teachers. So yeah, thats why it sounds chinese, because it kind of is.

DERPDERPDERPDERPDERPEDPEDOAD_OASpdoa lettuce

Isn't there something "Chinese" about the keyboard melody in Knuckleduster (pre-chorus) and the solo melody of Deadnight Warrior.

I like new AND old bodom. I bought all CD`s and sometimes I like the new bodom songs more..somedays the old bodom songs.
But I really hope they will make a song like kissing the shadows- such a great song!!:kickass:

aaand :D I hope they will release more lyrics
here (btw- great website) are the (official?)lyrics..but just for 2 blooddrunk songs:guh: ...3 lyrics from AYDY...4 from HCDR..5 from FTR..and 6 from Hatebreeder:) ...so I hope they won`t release the lyrics from just one song:Smug: ^^

^That's actually something most of us would like, but Alexi always end up not doing it. I remember at a certain point Alexi said that Blooddrunk would have 4-6 lyrics on the booklet, but look what we got in the end, not even the two that are on the website.

are the lyrics on that website the offical lyrics? They sound right:)

Sweet indeed, just the guitar thing, but I still get the anxiety off by crashing into a guitar store to try a guitar for 20-30 min and then buy a pick  There are 3 or 4 stores I know in Dublin, so one per week helps me tolerate the need
