Relentless Reckless Forever (Out March 8th, 2011)

Tell him to try

There is no way he will leak it for us now! Because links to his profile etc. have been posted on the forums. If a small music journalist has the album then think how many 100's of people do. There must be one asshole out there who will be the guy who leaks it!

Snowman, link the album for us if you get it somewhere, i preorder the album only if its good

Yeah. here is where you will cross the line. Linking to it is just as illegal as actually uploading it. At least on the official forum of the band.
But when it's leaked, you'll see songs pop up on youtube and when you're fast enough, you can check out some songs there before they take it down.

And its good :)

yes. Although all their albums are very similar, for some reason they are never accused of selling out. And I don't mind either. They are just awesome so no need to drastically change the sound.
Now I really wished I could go to the UK part of the Ugly tour..
oh well.

Well Amon Amarth has always had the same style but the theme, atmosphere, sound and vocals are just so damn good that it was only a matter of time before they became more and more popular. They don't need to sell out they just already have that sound.

Got this from Killerrose person! :D

"Remember bad musical called "Blooddrunk", which Children Of Bodom swept us in
not so distant year 2008? So this album seemed like a total collapse of a very
influential musician and band issuing years earlier masterpieces. There is
hardly any need to explain their first classic "Something Wild", "Hatebreeder"
and "Follow The Reaper", Bodomtsite how his followers won. Norther, Kalmah,
Imperanon are great examples, and some of them even managed to shake off the
shadow of the eternal leader. In 2003-a, Children Of Bodom have undergone huge
change in their sound - leaving aside the neo-classical influences that makes
them so unique and depth in a more serious tone, inspired more than thrash and
technical death metal. "Hate Crew Deathroll" was a very successful album -
proving that the new venture is not fruitless. However, "Are You Death Yet?"
Showed a more experimental, especially the face of the band - keyboards were
seriously reduced, guitars - heavy Americanized. This stretched the nerves of
the large amount of fans and it was right, but I would argue that the record be
opened and some meaningful pieces. "Blooddrunk" seems to nail the final nail in
the coffin, taking even more depth in that sound - the album is worth gold
Malinka, no doubt. With pritaen sides expect the new seventh album, Children Of
Bodom, thinking that this will be the pan that will make me totally abandon
them. But things are far from that simple!

To my regret, famous Finns have not returned to the neo-classical sound. Nor
have reached neat to the last detail quality "Hate Crew Deathroll". Return to
the roots away from the idea of "Relentless Reckless Forever". The album sounds
modern and heavy, but different from the last two creations. Keyboards are back
in a more acceptable amount, a guitar parties are much stronger and memorable.
Alexi Laiho's vocals are much more aggressive and semi-pure irritant outpourings
are almost extinct. Thrash influences are to the fore, and some of the songs at
times even recreate a more archaic osemdesetarska energy. The main problems lie
in the album too predictable song structures and that Children Of Bodom longer
have anything to surprise us. This makes the album terribly predictable, which
would hardly appeal to some people.

The opening "Not My Funeral", contains a very unusual but well vmetnati dunks
for the group. The chorus is well thought out with the main melody, which
follows the shouting of Alexi, a part before the solo reminds pleasant to past
golden years. "Shovel Knockout" starting very small bezideyno but later became
extremely amazing and began to catch the ear of the listener. "Roundtrip To Hell
And Back" reminds us with his top diamonds ballad "Everytime I Die" and "Angels
Don't Kill", but development there are also differences. Title "Relentless
Reckless Forever" is also a good piece, but leaves the impression of
nedoizpipanost - keyboards are okay, solo is strong, but the vocals rather
similar to some things from past albums. "Ugly" unlike the witless name is one
of the strongest songs here, by mysterious keyboards, creating a dark and
mysterious atmosphere and hit chorus. "Cry Of The Nihilist" frighteningly
reminiscent of much material from the album "Hate Crew Deathroll", but leaves a
positive impression in the listening ear. Unfortunately not so positive I can
speak for the rest of the album - again witless paper called "Pussyfoot Miss
Suicide" is nothing more than filling a kitschy keyboards and sound out of place
in the chorus. "Was It Worth It?" Is scary bezideyno as effects on the vocals
during the verses and funny solo spoil the impression from the chorus that seems
to have some rudimentary potential. The final "Northpole Throwdown" sounds more
as a cover of a forgotten classic and thrash metal like us natyakva that is
designed more for fun - although it has power and would have sounded perfect
live, so it should not sound The end of the album of the band, Children Of
Bodom. With its short duration, it shows some immaturity of motives and ends too
quickly, just when you start to think that a good finish.

Of course, you can not put an album like this to the first four, but I
personally see some light at the future of the children he knows from Finland.
The album is definitely a step forward, especially raised to extremely
controversial "Are You Death Yet?" And "Blooddrunk". Fillings again there, but
quality pieces are in greater quantity than in those albums. Hopefully the next
record is a bit more successful than "Relentless Reckless Forever" and return to
Children Of Bodom in the game - something the current experience boldly hints.

!!!!
They havent even released the LP yet and he's hoping that the NEXT album will be better or more successful?

Maybe it will be the best of the new style albums. My hopes have actually lowered, but I guess there will be some 4-5 good songs. Looking at the duration of the songs made me think they're using the same pattern a lot (even tho those thigns don't necessarily have any relation...) Judging on these reviews that are suddenly popping up like mushrooms on a rainy day, I just want to hear NMF, SKO, RtHaB and Ugly, while the rest of the songs the reviewers make seem like atmosphere-less thrash. Best COB album? I don't think that's easy. I hope they'll surprise me.
