You can't really compare St. Anger to for example Master of Puppets. St. Anger is like superficial nu-metal for skateboarder kids. A couple of cathcy beats just doesn't make it better.

Just for the record sense of purpose had more solos than there albums that were released after 2000 or so... The album still sucked yes, but there was indeed solos.

Oh man, I actually thought A Sense Of Purpose was really very good. I agree that I dislike Anders' vocals more and more over the years, but overall I thought it was great. Better than Come Clarity, anyway.. And I haven't heard Soundtrack, so I can't compare to that.

I disagree, I thought come clarity was. It had the most aggression with melody which is kinda similar to their roots but not exactly.
