It's not a genre I listen to all that much, but it is definitely interesting stuff. You pretty much listed all the RIO bands I listen to (Thinking Plague, Univers Zero, 5uu's).

If you know those bands, then I'm sure you know of Cuneiform Records. Great label for RIO and other highly experimental acts.

By the way, I wouldn't really consider Sleepytime Gorilla Museum RIO. They're one of my favorite bands. Saw them live last year. Amazing.
