Well...it was long overdue as he was really old, but Apollo passed away last night at 9.45pm.
I mean my hamster Apollo, for those of you who haven't been on the forum for a long time.
I'm gutted, naturally. I was glad I managed to get back home, which is about a 30 minute drive (I'm living with Alan temporarily at the moment), before he died so I could say goodbye.
He was a truly epic little creature and now he joins his brother Kostas (who died earlier this year) in hamster heaven!
