Sarah Palin & Rob Rock

ARGUING ABOUT POLITICS IS AWESOME BECAUSE IN THE END, IT AFFECTS THINGS. YOU CAN TELL I'M SO SMART BECAUSE OF THE USE OF SO MANY TEXT EFFECTS.

THIS IS A STUPID, UNNECESSARY FUCKING MEME STARTED ON 4CHAN THAT ADDS NOTHING TO THE GOD DAMNED CONVERSATION. CUT IT THE FUCK OUT. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT THAT YOU AGREE.

Dude, Obama may not be the greatest president in history, but are you really gonna compare him to that idiot Sarah Palin? Are you serious?

"They acted stupidly"...Special Olympics gaffe...57 states...corpsemen...bowing when he shouldn't...the list goes on and on. Odumba's genius shows no boundaries.

If you really want to compare Obama's quotes with Sarah Palin's, you're in for a bad defeat. Are you sure you want to do that?

Just a teaser:

"As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border." --Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

At least she has balanced a budget. He only balances what his teleprompter tells him to. ;)

Hey, at least he doesn't write notes on his hands. And then goes looking for them, as if she misplaced them.

Plus, her budget is called "Butchett", in her own words.

1) I have lost a bit of respect for Rob Rock. Then again, I'm agnostic and he's a devout Christian Metal artist - I can't expect to agree with most of his ideas even though I love his music.

2) I can't believe there's actually a discussion going on as to whether or not Palin or Obama is dumber. If you think it's a competition to begin with, you've already lost.

I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but I absolutely can't stand how people (mostly ignorant right-wing morons) have tried to turn Obama into the scapegoat for all of America's problems. If you disagree with what he's done - fine. If you disagree with his ideas - fine. If you think he could be doing a better job - fine. But don't play "pin the blame on the current president" just because you don't like the guy all that much. As someone said, we basically have a two-party system, and in hindsight I am still convinced we picked the better guy. However, if any of you have ever seen that South Park episode about choosing between a Douche and a Turd Sandwich...

This.

Not saying that Palin was qualified to be President (of course, she wasn't running for the position either), but she was closer to being qualified than what we got. McCain was definitely more qualified to take on the issues we currently have. He made decisions and not just vote "present" on everything.

Well said. Everything goes both ways, just how one views it.

I mean look at this thread.

Someone insulted Palin's intelligence, someone insulted Obama. Someone claims not logical to insult Obama for that. Someone provides examples of Obama's lack of intelligence comments that he has made. Someone tries to counter by proving Palin has said much worse stuff then Obama (I mean really - that's your defense?). Then the old can't blame Obama for problems comes out

Neither side will agree. Everyone views they are right.

Basically all politicians suck - just on different levels.

To be honest, I didn't pay enough attention to her during the election to form that opinion of her.

I did, and she truly is an idiot. She's somewhat sharp-witted (as in "able to make quick comebacks"), but she's both ignorant and unintelligent.

Note: I say this as someone who was a registered Republican at the time of her selection as VP candidate (I've since become disgusted enough by both parties that I'm not registered as an independent). FWIW, I liked John McCain OK (not a great candidate, but I've seen worse)....but the idea of having Sarah Palin in any position of significant authority scares the bejeezus out of me.
