Say something bad about your favorite band

Dark Tranquillity loves to tease their fans with their DVD release date. Pfffft! :)

Nightingale - How much weed was Dan smoking when he recorded "The Closing Chronicles?" It's my least favorite Nightingale album, as it tries to be proggy, but ends up disjointed, aimless, and just plain wierd.

THERE! You have NO IDEA how much it hurt to say that! !

mudvayne was great at the metallica concert. which brings me to my complaint. everything i hate about metallica: load, reload, st. anger, and that fuckin mission impossible song they made. other than that i love metallica!

:guh: Mudvayne???

Anyway...
Umm...ok lemmie think...
James LeBrie's vocals can get too highpitched for his own good...
Petrucci can sometimes sound like hes trying too hard...

Chris Cornell is getting old...
Eddie Vedder has turned into a cunt and his songwriting is suffering because of it...
There are some songs on Orchid that i just get into...and In The Mist She Was Standing is a little long...even for me....

I don't mind the new mudvayne actually. The drums and bass still own.

Don't get me wrong; I love all of MuDvAyNe's material. The new album is...for want of a better word, more 'mature' and the technical skills are still there, but the music just isn't as complex anymore.

=( i only went to see mudvayne....but my parents got the tickets late so we were right at the back in the highest seats in the stadium......we weren't allowed to take in binoculars (FUCKING IDIOTS) so mudvayne were literally dots in the distance....and the sound was so loud and badly done and echoing that I literally could not hear a single thing.

a total waste of time and money....and NOT the way i wanted to see mudvayne for the first time. :*(

[edit] a 25 minute set wasn't exactly very generous of the organizers either....all the other bands got over an hour at least.

Camel - Sounds like 70s porno music when the funky keyboards start playin.

Magma - The dumb language they made up so they can be more expressive, is kind of stupid and lame.

King Crimson - Some 12 minute songs wind up just being Fripp playing by himself, the whole band drops out, and its just him fuckin with the sustainer...Kinda boring if you ask me.

YES - John Anderson, and only John Anderson, oh yeah and Trevor Rabin.

Spiritual beggars - The singers voice sounds too swedish on some parts.

Neurosis - Not enough riffage on the last album.

Opeth - Deliverance was a train wreck.

Esoteric - All their songs sound the same.

arch enemy are not my favorite-favorite, but i love them... however, their lyrics are the fucking cheese! especially the new ones. all this 'rebellion' shit, with no actual subversive lyrics or specifics. too gay. i wish more people in metal would write lyrics that seem thoughtful and personal, like katatonia, who are perfect.
