What are your favorite Epic songs??

By "Epic" I mean songs that are longer than 5:00 i guess, and that have that "Epic" feel to them and are awe-inspiring. Also try to describe the parts of the song that make you go :OMG:

5:00? That's it? I don't consider something an epic until it reached the 7-min. mark, though there are exceptions.

Wintersun - Sadness & Hate
Blind Guardian - And Then There Was Silence
Opeth - The Moor
Symphony X - The Odyssey
Dream Theater - Stream of Consciousness
Rhapsody - Sacred Power of Raging Winds
Sonata Arctica - The Power of One

Just the ones I got off the top of my head. There are plenty more. :)

Opeth - The Funeral Portrait
Opeth - Masters Apprentices
The Berzerker - Farewell (not a song)
Judas Iscariot - Where The Winter Beats Incessant
DownTheSun - Revelations (not a song)
Deed Of Flesh - The Endurance
1349 - Hellfire
Ahab - The Stream
Bathory - One Rode To Asa Bay

Summoning- Nightshade Forests (and just about any song of theirs)
Aeternus- As I March (laid-back "epicness", the melodic intro is the best ever)
Arghoslent- Branding the Peon (catchy "epicness", the way the song gets faster as the song progresses is amazing)
Burzum- Beholding the Daughters of the Firnament (simple structure but exerts such a monumental, reflective "epicness")
Immolation- Unholy Cult title-track (best epic death metal track ever; the atmospheric guitar and drum section at the end is truly memorizing)
Sacramentum- Blood Shall be Spilled (the section with the triumphant guitar harmonization near the end really kicks ass everytime)
At the Gates- Within (simultaneous tremolo guitar and violin section near the end produces such a memorable epic outro)

I could go on and on... many, many great epic songs out there.

Good one. My favorite Immolation song is actually the title track on Close to a World Below. I'm not a big fan of the album as a whole, but that song is amazing:worship:

Epic has nothing to do with length.

You sing and also play guitar. You should form a power-metal band.
