After my first in this thread, I made three more a little farther from the dustcap (and thus less fizzy), and I think they're pretty damn good! There's a notepad file in there with info, enjoy! Here's a link

Haha, hey, when there's competition, the customer benefits! (even though neither of us get paid :D) And I figured I already had the mic set up, so why not! But yours of course kick ass dude, and you have the advantage of owning more than one mic!

you guys are spoiling us recently

and with exams coming up its a bad time to be spoiled

oh well sleep is overrated anyway

DaWolf, jesus that flanging is excessive in the beginning  Sounds pretty cool when it all kicks in, but is there still some modulation going on? It sounds like it (and the bass seems to be a bit funky in the upper mids). Cool though man! And Elmoe, crushing dude, though a bit muffled IMO, though I'm sure some simple plugin tweaking would remedy that!

Anyway, here's what I came up with using two tracks of SoloC into Boogex with the 57 1 impulse and zero post-eq (and my Ibanez with an EMG85 in the bridge, finally at proper height :))

Thanks dude, you know it! :D And Boogex over KeFIR, you mean? Yeah, Boogex sounds much better and more realistic to my ears, though it has a TIIIINNNNY built-in latency (but by tine, I mean totally imperceptible and I'd never have known if no one told me!) Just make sure to turn the 4 knobs under the "amplifier" section all the way down to 0! (cuz it's technically a full ampsim, even though we just use it for the IR section)

I have the dynamics knobs 60% up in my mix , also a bit of the tone. Could that be the thing you said about the modulation ? I`ll try all zero in my next version.
The wahwah in the opening riff is intentional of course ;) Normally this isn`t even in the song, but there is a part in the end where the drums play faster along to the main riff , and my guitarist thought there should be faster guitar as well so we made just one track- and then in the mix I thought the song might as well start the way it ends...
