Seriously, why is The Locust Years not in my stereo yet?

If you've only got The Bastard, then:

"You should have Slain me"
"The Dragon is Summoned"

fuck, i dunno....listen to the first 5 tracks. Pretty much ranges from blast beats, clean vox, female vox, doom riffs, guitar harmonies -- the whole shebang.

and then go listen to Celtic Frost's "Tears in a Prophet's Dream" and note an apparent influence.

good suggestion. I think the album kinda slides towards the last few tracks.

The August Engine on the other hand is a WHOLE 'nuther can of worms. Very frickin different, and ridiculously diverse, and well probably the best release of the 00's.

The August Engine slides UP and UP and UP on the last few tracks :kickass:

Got confirmation that my order has been fulfilled as of 5 minutes ago! My last TER order showed up really fast... heres to hoping it'll make it by early next week!

HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE - The Locust Years (PRE-ORDER)
I'm surprised this hasn't leaked yet. Although I own their first two CDs (I was at ProgPower, in the vendor section, and they were $8) I'll wait to hear the new one before I buy it. I can't say I'm crazy about either of the first two CDs.
