Sex w/ last.fm

I'm down:) just recently felt myself in a rut listening to the same shit non stop. Down to check out new stuff. But I don't wanna hear any lame shit!

When I'm getting tired of the same music, I go to the RYM charts and just listen to some highly rated stuff from a genre I'm not overly familiar with. I was listening to a bunch of Soul and Funk the other day, for example (although I was already somewhat familiar with some Soul).

Well some of it is just on repeat
Electric Wizard
Inter arma
Earth
Uncle acid

but some newer stuff I've liked is
omega massif
And bereft I guess.

I was talking purely about Stones :D I heard probably every song they ever recorded so I can really recommend something from them if you're not familiar with their discography.

I am also open to recommendations out of my comfort zone, here's recent plays:

Saw that Acid Bath in there, this band openly admits worshipping the band, great shit.

I like (well liked) the layout of iTunes.

It wasnt until it upgraded and fucked with my scrobbler that Im thinking about switching players.

What do you guys use? Winamp?

Winamp on my older laptop until it dies. Foobar on my newer laptop although I haven't used it much. I mostly stream stuff from my phone.

I hope Winamp comes back at some point :(

I thought they were doing something this year. Some partnership with someone else. But yeah that's what I use.

Not sure if you're scrobbling mobile, but I have Rhapsody, which lacks its own scrobbling capabilities, and 'simple lastfm scrobbler' works great.

Nah I scrobble from my iPod, hence using iTunes...

I will most likely stick with iTunes because even though I dont like the layout anymore having a device that can store over 100GB of music is pretty legit.
