@fjelltussa: i don't consider myself unlucky, but i know i'm not one that makes things easier for himself with my attitude/behaviour, so i thought some half-deprecatory remark would suit fine both me and my over-serious avatar. ;)

@salamurhaaja: isn't it enough of a penance that every time i mean to address you i have to do a spell check?

rahvin.

Always prepared for the worst.

Simply because, well, I am. Nothing surprises me any longer. And if you go around hoping for something good to happen, you're bound to be disappointed. I'm always expecting the worst, and thus, I'm rarely disappointed.

@final_vision : does the quote "I'm a word, better than a bird, man" come also from Jim Morrison's poetry ? I just can't remember.

"Im a word man, better than a bird man" yeah sure does, An American Prayer I believe...

Nothing is enough, you are my clone, you must be punished

My signature is as deep as they come. It is the best comment ever to come from Fry from Futurama. Unfortunatly it sort of has to be seen to be understood to the full extent of it's wisdom. It can be found in the episode "A Bendless Love".

Mine is from Dark Tranquillity's song shadow Duet and well, I chose it becasue that's how I am, though the dark and bitter part is present most of the time, and the beautiful hardly ever surfaces.

Ok so now you lovely people can (if you want) help me choose a sig :) Which is your favourite of these (they are all very un-metal in every way ;) ) :

I'm the kid who ran away with the circus, Now I'm watering elephants, But I sometimes lie awake in the sawdust, Late at night in the empty big top. I'm the kid who thought we'd someday be lovers, Always held out that time would tell, Time was talking, guess I just wasn't listening, No surprise if you know me well. I'm the kid who has this habit of dreaming, Sometimes gets me in trouble too, But the truth is I could no more stop dreaming, Than I could make them all come true…

You can tell by the way she talks she lose the world. You can see in her eyes that no one is her change - She's my girl, my supergirl. She’d say “It's ok, I got lost on the way, but I'm a supergirl, and supergirls don't cry.” And then she'd say “It's alright, I got home late last night, but I'm a supergirl and supergirls just fly” And then she'd say that nothing can go wrong When you're in love what can be wrong? And then she'd laugh, the night time into day pushing her fear, further away….

In restless dreams I walked alone, Narrow streets of cobblestone, Beneath the halo of a street lamp, I turned my collar to the cold and damp, When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light, That split the night, And touched the sound of silence. And in the naked light I saw, Ten thousand people, maybe more, People talking without speaking, People hearing without listening, People writing songs that voices never share...And no one dare, Disturb the sound of silence. And the people bowed and prayed, To the neon god they made. And the sign flashed out its warning, In the words that it was forming, And the signs said: "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls….

The world is neither fair nor unfair, the idea is just a way for us to understand. But the world is neither fair nor unfair, So one survives, The others die, And you always want a reason why. It doesn't speak a plan or any secret thing, no unseen sign or untold truth in anything... But living on in others, in memories and dreams, Is not enough, You want everything, Another world where the sun always shines, And the birds always sing… It doesn't mean there has to be a way of things, No special sense that hidden hands are pulling strings…You always want so much more than this...You want everything, Another world where the birds always sing, Another world where the sun always shines, Another world where nothing ever dies...

It is complete now - Two ends of time are neatly tied. A one-way street, she's walking to the end of the line, and there she meets the faces she sees in her heart and mind. They say -Goodbye- Tomorrow, Wendy's, going to die. I told the priest - Don't count on any second coming. God got his ass kicked the first time he came down here slumming. He had the balls to come, the gall to die and then forgive us - No, I don't wonder why I wonder what he thought it would get us - But God says jump, so I set the time 'cause if he ever saw her it was through these eyes of mine, and if He ever suffered it was me who did His crying... Hey, hey, good bye...

Sorry they are all so long, I thought it was sacrelidge to cut them down anymore... So I'm interested, what do you think? Hmm?

well mine is a quote from Chapman Cohen.
i saw it on a webpage some time ago and i really liked it, unfortunately i haven't read anything by him so i don't know if it's a typical quote by him, it's nice anyway. :)
