Sinergy are still together. The forum wasn't closed cause of a fight, but for the reasons stated earlier (new site w/ forum onsite). I don't know whats going on with the recording of the album of any dates or anything, but I can confirm my first two sentences cause my friend spoke to Alexi about it before the Cleveland COB show while I was with him.
