sharing these AWESOME snare hits.

note, these are supplemental and should never fully replace a snare drum. these are flat so no eq, but theyre processed to sound like a giant hitting your drums. blend to taste and add lots of high end eq. if you think this is bogus or im pulling your chain maybe you should read up on multi sampling and blending. im sharing these until dropbox wont allow it, then if someone else wants to host it thats cool too.

All I hear is a quick "pock" sound that is super short, is this correct? Almost like a hammer hitting a nail...

Yup! Sound Design FTW. =D

OP comes off with a bit of an attitude, though? Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly..

Thanks bro!

yeah sorry man, i just like to have all my tracks covered, i hate idiots lol.

yeah that pop sound is correct though man.... leave it the off the master bus and just clip it.. i find when i use sounds like these then add a nice compressed original track and a warm sample blended in 10% i get immediate fantastic results.
