I just made some quick test with the Krank but I found it sounding better a higher volume levels. Not like a rectifier which sounds good at low levels, too.
But I really have to spend more time with this amp soon.

the RevJr would be the way to go to keep volume levels sane. my Rev1 sounds best above 5, and it is pretty damn loud.
