You sound so incredulous! Were you aware that 7 of NJ's 22 counties (or so) are among the 100 wealthiest/most expensive in the entire country? Hell, 5 of them are top 20.

So with that in mind, I live in Bergen County [/nuffsaid]

(though it'd be the same in Morris and Passaic, too, maybe slightly less)

I live less than 5 miles from both the GW Bridge & the Lincoln Tunnel.

Ha ha, no! I've lived within 10 miles of NYC my entire life, all within either Brooklyn or Bergen Cty.

Though it's worth mentioning that there are several areas outside of Philly (on the NJ side) that are nearly as expensive.

haha, i was checking out a house for $250k, pretty much the cheapest of the cheap out here. oh man, it was a fucking PIT. the neighborhood looked like something out of Escape from LA and the house was about the size of my apartment.
