Well when you scream like Cornell can, that's just not healthy...even if it's probably the coolest voice in rock and metal history. It's just not natural. I'm sure glad he did though!
 
Never knew about Chris having surgery prior to joining Audioslave. Drinking and smoking were always cited as the reasons for his decline.
Nyet. He had vocal chord surgery around the Superunknown tour. Hence why his range is so different in Down On The Upside.
 
Egh. He shines in Demons & Wizards for me more than Blind Guardian.

Terror Train was the first 'power metal' song that caught my attention. I turned on a digital cable metal channel and heard the end "Beneath the demon mooOoooOON!" It blew my mind. Went out and bought it right away. So rad... HANSI!!!

TERRIBLE video, though. Hansi's presense doesn't fit his voice at all. :lol:
