hahahah fuckin balky and larry. i always thought of that too, when i hear the title.

i'd be pretty badass if they covered a Morbid Angel song.

although i dig bjork, it's about the last thing in the world i'd want to hear Opeth cover. let's see.... a song i would like to hear with the warmer tones and better vocals Opeth would provide? considering how well 'Remember Tomorrow' turned out:

Nevermore- The Sanity Assassin
Iced Earth- Burnt Offerings
and some old school Entombed...

Bjork.....?

She is a testament to the fact that most women shouldnt bother with music and just stay in the fucken kitchen.

Well in this case anyways.

metal covers of metal are so unoriginal. i still think Luz had the best suggestions.

mix it up people...

most of the time when i hear bands really stretch to do covers it comes across gimmicky and thin to me. opeth do metal pretty fucking well. i don't really need to hear them screw around in a bunch of other genres to keep my attention.

if they are going to go outgenre, i want to hear them cover:

Frank Zappa- Catholic Girls
Aphex Twin- Milkman
Mike Patton and DEP- When Good Dogs Do Bad Things

...because that shit has got to end up interesting.

They should cover Gwen Stefani.
"AIN'T NO HOLLABACK GGIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRLLLLUH!!!"

I would pay good money to hear Mike do death vocals for the "B A N A N A S" part. That would rule.
