I've been meaning to check out old Kataklysm, namely Temple of Knowledge. How is that album?

Honestly get Mystical Gate of Reincarnation EP and Sorcery first if your gonna try their old stuff. Temple of Knowledge is less structured than those two and isn't as good, but still a solid album.

Yeah, that blows. I saw them in a small bar in Seminole. They rocked the fucking house.

Youngblood was having some guitar difficulties, so they changed the set. Originally, they weren't supposed to play "Abandoned" from The Black Halo; but since it has only a small guitar part, they whipped it out while the techs fixed his connection. It was probably the most emotionally intense performance of the night. Khan's vocals were amazing.
