I have to ask, why do you have both Ending Quest AND Desolator when they are both Old School Swedish Death Metal? Wouldn't it have been easier to put it all towards one band? Or is Ending Quest more the other dudes (I forget his name sorry) project that just happens to include Stefan and Jonas as well? I'm not knocking it I just wanted to know.

ending quest is HM2 worship and "doing stuff without having to worry about being able to play and sing it at the same time"-project iirc

desolator is geared more towards the american sound and actually playing live

Like jocke said, Ending Quest is pure hm-2 classic swedeath worship and it was started by stefan and gustav as a studio project. They intended to sound like Entombed, Dismember and those other classic Swedish bands. I joined because they didn't have a bass player and I thought it would be fun to record and be a part of it.

Desolator is a real band and we never intended to sound "Swedish". We have looked more to bands like Death, Vader and Asphyx for inspiration. I have gotten this question many times and the best way to answer it is "because we can". I don't think the bands sound very similar except for Stefans vocs.
