Summer Mixing Time: groovy yet melodic at the same time

you can add all the analog character you want but it wont fix the painfully awkward verse or the out of tune instruments :erk:

Since the finalists have been decided, can anyone who listened to it give me feedback or first impressions on the WR Soepratman mix?

I was going for something dynamic. I blame it on all the Tool I've been listening to lately. There's more automation section to section than I heard in most of the other mixes. Even though the download was limited to the point of near-constant distortion, did it hit you the right way?

Well, since the contest is over, I guess I can ask for feedback on my mix.
My mix was "Agus Salim", you can listen to it here:

first thing is how fat the snare, oh i love it!

the clean guitar delay is great, make the arrangement more powerful

the vocal seems have too much nasty frequencies which we don't like

the lead guitars are too thin for our guitarist taste

Overall your mix is great, just need some adjustment to shine!
thank you for your participation
