the best and worst moments in metal

none, but many people would of picked up a guitar because of Dime, you dig? ;)

Hrm.. I guess i can see that... i didn't get into my guitar or metal because of Dimebag......makes more sence now...

All of their albums do no sound similar. They all stand on their own fairly well. Show No Mercy is heavily NWOBHM influenced. Hell Awaits is their most epic work with longer, slower songs. Reign In Blood is a blistering, speedy assault. South Of Heaven is a more complex, sophisticated album with more advanced songwriting and a unique production, and Seasons In The Abyss alternates tempos quite often. Then the band broke up.

I still dont see the selling out part, but the albums are a little different, but they still are alot alike. The differences aren't as extreme as most other bands different albums.

play Show No Mercy and then play God Hates Us All. Play Hell Awaits and then play Divine Intervention. Play Reign In Blood and then play Diabolus In Musica. If you can't see a dramatic decline in songwriting, then I can't help you.

So basically you've never heard slayer before ?

I have heard of slayer, of course, I just think that they released some of the most alike albums compared to most other bands, examples, compare Metallicas 1rst album and their last, do the same for Megadeth and Emperor, it almost sounds like 2 different bands.

Even Bonded By Blood sounds more like Tempo Of The Damned than Show No Mercy sounds like God Hates Us All, and by a longshot.

Are you even aware that Slayer stopped playing Thrash altogether after Divine Intervention?

Why are you so happy that a good guitar player that alot of people liked died, I dont fucking get it, I hate Korn but if Jonathan Davis died I wouldnt be happy. Dimebag was one of my favorite guitar players and I think its bullshit that you would say things like that just to say them. You are a piece of shit, truly, I have never meant it more on this forum. You shouldn't even have anything to say back because you know you are full of shit you fucking asshole. Comments like that piss me off, I think its funny when someone makes racist comments most of the time, but when cunts like you say shit like that it reallly personally agitates me, if you were around me in person and said that I would stab you in your fucking throat.
lol

I didn't buy the slayer shoes, I did buy a fresh pair of old skool Reeboks and a tight pair of black suede sneakers.

Watch closely for just one difference.....

Old Slayer:
Tom Araya: *semi-intelligent politically based lyrics with little to no cursing*

New Slayer:
Tom Araya: GOD HATES US ALL FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT I FUCKING HATE YOU CUNT

I've been noticing that one of your favorite pastimes is avoiding/ignoring valid points and moving on to something else.

You can tell Kerry King wrote majority of the lyrics on the new disk. Tom,Jeff should be the only one's writing.

None of them should be writing anymore because they don't write anything GOOD anymore. :|

Wait....hold on. I was sure I read somewhere that it was the other way around, that Kerry King wrote most of the earlier lyrics and now Tom and the others are getting more of a turn.
