The definite, new "How Do You Feel" Thread

I've seen it 4 times already, it is by far the funniest movie I've ever seen. And I've seen just about every comedy there is on the face of the earth....
 
Hmm... what chance does an american like me have of seeing it? Would it still be funny with subtitles?
 
Dunno.. Is french remotely similar to english? I'm considering taking a summer course, but naturally, I don't want to work too hard...
 
French is a latin language and English is germanic. Therefore, very few similarities but the grammar is pretty similar. French is only 50 times more complicated....
 
I feel little frustrated because I can't go to net from my home, something is wrong with the provider so I can't be here every day and can't chat with my friends...for the moment I am using computer on which I should be doing something for the class (on college now) but I couldn't resist...hope my net will get back in few days

In that case you´ll have to learn so much more, as in Chinese languages (there are a couple of) are symbols for words and syllables, so you are not learning a new alphabet (what would be hard enough, like for example Russian), but every word you learn comes with a different symbol. Have fun ;)

French would be a good choice, or any other language that is spoken widely and has the same letters ;) Have you studied other languages already? Otherwise you could choose from what´s spoken at your future travel destinations :D
