The definite, new "How Do You Feel" Thread

Do you have a Photobucket account, fireangel? This is typical of the entire $$ system in this world, not just capitalism. I have to laugh when I hear or read stuff about the evils of capitalism. The evils of $$ . << (period) Seems like most people in this world want things the easy way. Fuck them. I don't put my fotos behind a password because I want to share them with everyone, and if some of them feel the need to try to make money off of them they're going to try and do it. Whatever. These types of people who don't want to make an effort and do things for themselves can curl up and die. Same goes for people who's only goal in life is to take things that aren't theirs or scam people out of their life savings or something similar. Ptou! on those pricks.

I know I'm a bit strange about this worldy $$ (commerce) system. I envision a world free of that shit someday, but I'm in a minority. ;)

Here's my song of the day to cover the topic:

Imagine
John Lennon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Yeah, Lennon had the clearest idea of the ideal society. :Smug: Attempts to implement thoughts like these have killed too many people in the whole world.

i'm also definitely against "all the people" sharing "all the world", and my precious photobucket images included therein!

@fireangel: i might be wrong since i haven't looked into it, but it is my understanding that photobucket is a free service. as such, i suppose they have the right to offer such a money-making feature, since you are using their service for free. you know, instead of throwing commercials on your face or asking money for the service. but i do agree they should include it in their terms, just so that they don't contradict themselves.

NF: great. i ruled this clinic, got a 10 (out of 10).

wildfyr: yes, I have a photobucket-account. I have nothing against capitalism, and this whole is not about capitalism, it´s about copyright-stuff.

Siren: photobucket has free and paid accounts, the difference is that the paid accounts have unlimited webspace and can be viewed as often as anyone likes.
They all come with advertisment, and that´s how they earn money, same as private TV stations earn money from advertisments. No-one would run a page like this for nothing and goodwill, but that´s why the ads are there already.
Also, you can equally print out photos from paid accounts, there is no differentation.

fireangel: Point taken, but I would argue that copyright issues often (but not always) lead to economic issues. In my case, economic issues regarding photo sales has not been at the forefront of my thoughts concerning my own site. I don't try to make money with my fotos. If others happen to be doing so with mine or anyone else's their karma train will eventually catch up with them so I try not to let it bother me. What bothers me more is hypocrisy of some people who diss capitalism but still hold fast to some form of economic transfer system.

marduk1507 and rahvin: Fair enough, gentlemen. You have your opinion and I have mine and it's not going to change anytime soon. Like I previously mentioned, my views are strange, unpopular, and out of synch with the rest of this material world. I keep play this workin' for a living game because I have to, but I'm very grateful that I've had many blessing in the career efforts. I think I still have somewhat of a grip on this bullshit reality to which so many still wish to cling. Bleh.

Teh powers that be can kiss my ass! What kills us will only make us a stronger locomotive karma train. :headbang::loco::oops::saint:
