How to deal with polacks that are ruining your game for over 20 rounds.

Also @PowerBlade , there is major CSGO tournament starting 29th of March, its gonna last for 6 days, matches will be from 4 pm to around 2 AM since the events happening in USA. I reckon you wanted to watch some pro plays.

The Hobbit was a huge step back compared to LOTR. Dwarves looked horrible (you can practically see the seams where the beards end), the CGI orcs were complete shit and unbelievable compared to the practical effects in LOTR, and the green screens were painfully obvious. You could tell it was a bunch of unconvincing actors in a studio more than movies with half the resources.... I gave up on that trilogy halfway through the second movie. It was badly executed all around.

Damn, my thoughts exactly. I am a massive LOTR fan, have had drink-a-thon marathons with friends watching the extended editions multiple times. One of if not my favorite movie series ever. The Hobbit was such a disappointment I couldn't believe it when I saw it in theaters. The dwarves looked like mid grade cosplay, plus there wasn't one standout dwarve that that I actually liked they were just there it was stupid. Almost complete lack of practical effects, the orcs being almost completely replaced with CGI when they looked fan fuckin tastic in LOTR in dress/makeup. Even the main fucking villian white fuck is all CGI. I went to all 3 movies in the theater hoping it would get better but I was disappointed every time.

i actually think the hobbit movies got better with each movie, very similar to the Star Wars prequels in that regard

Maybe slightly... but still not enough to save it. Same can be said for the Star Wars ...prequels *shudder*. By the end I didn't give a fuck about any of the dwarves, or even Bilbo really. Only saving grace for me was Gandalf was back.

It's just so bad compared to LOTR. I actually really cared about almost all the characters throughout the entire trilogy. Sam and Frodo's bromance <3 <3

BREAKING NEWS

Fnatic WONT win 7th tournament in a row. Silly swedes finally lost. Nor prima aprilis.
Im drowning in skins from betting.

Its gonna be refreshing seeing semifinals and finals without them :3

I bought Fallout 1 and 2 and I am planning to finish both. I have not played either of these games in a very long time despite enjoying them when they were first released. So far I have put about 6 hours into FO1 and it has been pretty great, there is a perfect blend of old school and depth that works perfectly. I had forgotten how great these games really are, and how different they are from the Bethesda installations.

North American team lost in semifinals after leading 15-9 and 15-6 and then losing all rounds in a row and losing in overtime. This is laughable. NA CS

From the other news, struggling polish team had a good fight against brazilians that are supposed to be a "new best team in the world". After seeing the match i highly doubt that.

The finals will be ukrainian/russian/czech team Navi vs Brazilian Luminosity Gaming. Winner will get 500.000 dollars.

GO SUKA BLYAT!

Do you know how people sometimes ironically say that they could have done it better? I legitimately think that I could've done better than they did it  FIFTEEN match points and they manage to lose. Pathetic. It looks like an interesting final so far though!

Even mindless rushing would finally workout when done 10 times in a row.

NA team imported ukrainien cheater and rager, so probably he started to whine and blame others and it all went to hell.

Im kinda dissapointed in the final, in previous tournament LG really played nice, this major, well, map bugs won them the place in the finals probably, especially when they are happening on important rounds. + I dont really like to watch a 1 man show, I prefer whole team effort not getting carried by coldzera or fer getting lucky shots while flashed or mid air because thats not skill, but disgusting luck.

@the_fiend
And this major brazilians didnt show anything to be honest, the finals where underwhelming.

They had the easiest group, almost lost to mousports, then in quarter almost lost to polish team just getting back in shape (and they are the only ones who put up a fight against huehues), then they faced Liquid, NA team that are not prepared to deal with teams outside NA and pression and finally they faced Navi in finals when their star AWPer had wrist issues and delivered poor performence losing team the game.

Adding to that insane amounts of luck LG had with wallbangs, heads while flashed and midair, bugged granades it just left me salty and hoping Dreamhack next week will be better tournament.

And Liquid is no opponent + as I said they have s1mple that started raging and crying after 5 rounds lost in a row, that and the comeback made Liquid impossible to gather thoughts and stop the comeback.

Stupid rushes won LG the overtime vs Navi, thats all Liquid had to do, I dont know who was calling strats but clearly he wasnt prepared for major tournament.

And beating Navi with Guardian underwhelming isnt that hard, Navi relies on their sniper because they specialise in slow plays. Edward stepped up big this tournament and this is the only reason they were in finals. But lacking a key player in finals is just instant lose.

This tournament can be described in 2 words. Chokes and comebacks.

Biggest chokers are of course Liquid, then Astralis when they failed to win over Navi.
The biggest comeback was made by LG of course, but then again, its Liquid.
The second place is definitely for Virtus Pro, they managed to comeback 2 times from 3 rounds won to 10 and 11 respectively. They didnt collapse, they could handle the pressure and it was amazing to watch. Fer stopped being lucky with his shots and bugs so TACO finally saved them from losing 2:1 to VP. That was some good CS, no luck, no stupid plays, just pure skill and one Brazilian player finally stepped up and won the game.

Another brazilian team Tempo Storm will be present at Dreamhack next week, im curious to see them play, because they also looked promising, but are not consistent enough yet to become tier 1 team i guess.
