I'm having a hard time getting into Dragon Age 2, I loved the first one but this one feels so confined. Your in basically one city and you back track ALL the fucking time. So different from the first in that sense. :\

i dunno about it, it looks like it has potential but it sorta looks like it could end up another hit XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to kill enemies

also, beat dead space 2, excellent game, may play through hardcore after exams

Dead Space 2 was amazing...I thought about hardcore but it would be such a pain in the ass. And I'm not sure about Hunted...but something tells me it wouldn't be so simple. I trust Bethesda, I don't think they would put out such a cardboard hack n' slash.

I had heard that the second installment was going to be more linear than the first. I miss the Baldur's Gate days.

yeah good point, bethesda usually put out quality stuff, i like the idea of two people, one with bow and one melee too, hopefully there will be co-op

know what i want, a true sequal to gauntlet dark legacy (or legends....same game really :p) that game kicked so much ass, my sister and i played it to death, seven sorrows was such a letdown piece of shit, i mean.....no secret charecters? what tha fuck

It's hardly linear at all. It's in one general area unlike the first, but that's simply personal storytelling vs coast to coast epic scale storytelling.

What about the hack n slash WET there game its was very weird and was made by Bethesda.

Wet is a game I still need to pick up. I personally loved the feel of the demo with its faults to the side. Very grindhouse ish.

I know for a fact that there will be online co-op...so we'll see. Gauntlet is a name I've not heard for awhile lol. What else do you play?

I played the demo for WET as well, I loved the feel of it. Agreed Jason, very grindhouse. But I couldn't squeeze it into my budget, and subsequently forgot about it. I'll rent it on your recommendation.

Yeah with it undoubtedly being a rather short experience I couldn't cut it at the time. I should throw it on gamefly.

haha anything good. actually i guess i like rpgs, although i rarely have the time for them anymore
the ps2 shin megami tensei titles were all good
i loved all the final fantasies up to 10.
star ocean 3 was amazing, 4 was alright.
demons souls, i love demons souls, finally a punishing game thie gen :p
rogue galaxy (if you like white knight chronicles, this game is on ps2, same company, better in every way except graphics)
metal gear solid is one of my favorite series, hard to choose a favorite among 1,3 and 4.
grand theft auto
resident evil 4 and 5 were great
borderlands
marvel vs capcom.
hitman series was amazing,
eternal darkness. one of the best gamecube games
gladius was good too on the gamecube
i also love old school snes games ( my snes is still hooked up, ready to go), donkey kong, mario, metriod, illusion of gaia is one of the best games of all time. megaman X was a great series too on the snes
i love the fire emblem series for gameboy (the first one, each subsequent one was easier and easier)
tales of symphonia is another game that was amazing, my sister and i beat that a good 4-5 times
starcraft
doom
FEAR
street fighter
dead space.
Left 4 dead 2
Battlefield bad company 2 (love this game, got me into online gaming along with left 4 dead)
mass effect
dragon age
metro 2033
portal
dead rising 2
kane and lynch (very original multiplayer)
god of war series (3 was incredible)
all the castlevanias, ive yet to play a bad one except the second one for n64
clay fighter
mario golf
perfect dark
timesplitters 2 (cant beat like 150 multiplayer skins)
mercenaries
xmen legends

all time favorite game - Ogre Battle 64, sort of an rts, making squads, knights wizards dragons lichs vampires, amazing story, extremely long (fastest i ever beat it was 29 hours), play it through every year. beat it like 10 times now

haha its hard to choose favorites, but those are some of my all time favorite games

basicly ill play anything where you can kill something

also, no local co-op = no fucking thanks

i mostly play games with friends i know IRL, so if theres no splitscreen theres no point for me, but im a prick

That's quite a resume. And I know Ogre Battle well. My friend and I went apeshit when we found a copy. Final Fantasy 12 was my favorite. It blew the rest out of the water imo. Castlevania LoS was amazing, I recently played through that on Phlegethon's recommendation. Timesplitters 2 was the shit, I don't hear that name enough. Gladius was good, so were the summoner games..though I'm not sure I could go back now. Starcraft (the original) is still my favorite multiplayer game of all time. Metro was the most underrated release on the next gen consoles, I loved it. Original Perfect Dark was the best shooter on n64. Mass Effect is amazing. Space Opera style. God Of War 2 is on my top ten list. 3 was quite good, just not as good as 2. Resident Evil is another franchise I'll never stop playing. When they get to ResEvil 25...I'll still be buying. Fire Emblem is getting reeeeeeeaaaaaal easy, but they're still great stories. Dead Space was fantastic. 2 was even better. And as much shit as I gave the first L4D, I did enjoy both titles. Grand Theft Auto will always be fun. Something about hitting prostitutes with cars just gives me a boner. Doom 3 scared the shit out of me (Jason, you know.) I still buy SNES titles when I find them cheap. Some of them are insanely pricey though. Earthbound is up to $150!

I'm stoked on the new Mortal Kombat release too. If you haven't seen anything, you should jump on Jewtoobs and check it out.

Played a little of the Cold Creek beta for L4D2 last night. Pretty decent level design. Some of the textures are still popping a bit, but it should make for some good versus matches.

Jason, I'm thinking a Noob Saibot - Mileena combination should make for some good team combos with the grapples into light juggle ->big damage pounce. One of the first combos we should try out.

^yeah my friend and i beat it recently, its a bit buggy (a beta afterall) but still a great level

awwww its rare to meet apperciation for ogre battle, and oddly enough someone sent me a link to earthbound being 150$ today.......like literally 20 minutes before your post, incredibly weird.

i started with ff7, and then 10, loved them both, ive played most of them now, i rented 12.....played it for a bit.......then returned it.......never gave it another thought

haha i keep buying fire emblem, they keep getting stupidly easy, but i dont care

i also finished LoS on plegthons request (ill just say veins, first word is too hard to spell :p), symphony of the night is great too, as is curse of darkness for ps2 (although fanbois hate it, its got a lot of realyl good bosses, long play time, fun combat, leveling and a shit ton of weapons), the gameboy ones are all excellent too :)
