Arkham City reviews are up. 10/10 on GI...it's being lauded as the "best use of a license in the industry's history."

Now I'll probably have to buy it.

i got arkham asylum for like 7$ and never finished it, i mean it is good, i was just never really in the mood for it.

also, about this mini reviewer discussion, i almost never trust ratings, i tend to read them to get an idea of what to expect, and see if the flaws they point out would matter to me. weve all read a review where they nitpick stupid stuff you'll never notice.

like mercenaries two, it got mediocre scores, and had some random glitches like stuff floating in midair, but that is one of my favorite games this gen, everything about it was true to the original and excellent

^You're absolutely right. You can never be completely certain based on reviews....but I do trust Gameinformer because our opinions are usually pretty close to one another.

I had the same problem with Arkham Asylum when I first bought it. I didn't touch it for months but when I finally got into it I played through in a couple days.

Bioshock Infinite looks promising, I am going to be playing it for sure. Bioshock series does have some of the best settings/atmospheres seen in games I can't deny that.

Bioshock was still a good game, just not a 10/10 or 95% that every review gave it. It's maybe an 8.5, nowhere near being one of the greatest games of all time, not even the best of 2007. I don't think I'm part of the minority on that one either, it's mostly reviewers that creamed themselves. It became a hype machine and that's where reviews start losing credibility.

But yeah I was one of the fortunate ones that played System Shock 1 & 2, I was definitely expecting a longer more in depth experience.

Finished Witcher 2.

One of the best RPG ive ever played. Its damn short, but I felt like i was reading the books again. It was 7 years ago. Damn... Again this world full of swearing, fucking, blood and politcs.
