The Gaming Thread

Arkham City is awesome, I just beat the main story today. It's a little on the short side...10 hours or so...but there's enough side quest and Riddler challenge stuff to keep the game going for quite awhile.

I also watched like 30 minutes of footage from Skyrim. That game is going to kick some ass.

first impressions of battlefield 3, its so bad :(

i get kicked from every game because they STILL use punkbuster

it stutters and has low frame-rates

ive been trying to get it to work for a solid 2 hours now, uninstalled it to try and reinstall. and now it wont let me reinstall...

another mess from EA games

^yeah after an afternoon of fucking with it, and reinstalling i got it up and running, had to do some updates, and mess with a lot of the settings.

that being said i just went 17/7 on my first game (if memory serves) :D, once i start unlocking stuff it should really open up, kinda wish i could find the weapons stats and that it wasnt run in a browser.....i see no real advantage to running it in google chrome

I'm getting it in a few weeks, I shot my Battlefield wad on Arkham City (totally worth it) and now I'm trying to make sure I have enough for Skyrim.

lol xbox 360 is the worst console ever made , i have a super nintendo that still works after 17 years, i have a friend whos had 3 xbox's

 and also, better graphics + 64 player maps :)

^I've been through six xboxes...the older models were awful. Thankfully all but one was covered by warranty. The newest model was worth the money I put into it. It runs a lot cooler.

I'm getting Battlefield on ps3 though.

yeah see thats awful, systems are bound to fail sometimes, but they shouldnt consistantly fail, even if now it is "fixed"

ill never buy an xbox , peace of mind is everything

I'm still on my first 360, had to ship it in once and they sent it back within a week. At the time of purchase, my main purpose was for multi player gaming and online interactions; so I can't really say I regret my decision.

Also, I refuse to get involved in the 'console wars'.
