Why do you hate Zune? The only thing i miss is last.fm-support and dark themes.

The few times i've played around with them I just wasn't getting in touch with the os. Its not that it was bad per se, just wasn't meshing with me. Certainly enough to prevent me from spending money of a premium item to replace my phone for music on the go.

Oh you actually disliked the Zune Device? Wth? They look awesome and have won many prices for the UI. If they were available here in sweden I would own one. I have a Windows Phone 7 now which has similar user interface, i love it!

I thought you were talking about the Zune Software for the PC, that can use some improvements but I guess that will come now that Windows Phone is integrated with it.

If you want sound quality go with Sony, maybe Cowon but I'm not sure. Tried it long ago.

I still use this after 4 years and it sounds better than most of nowadays shit, especially with Sony 100 dolla earphones.

Cowon can play Flac which is great and has a nice big screen.

Btw with higher class Sony mp3/mp4 players you get premium earphones that are probably worth around 30€.

I simply prefer its UI and its Widget. Everything is a bit more intuitive for me.
