The "Meaningful Discussion" Thread

Yeah, swords are cool. They're certainly the most versatile of medieval weaponry.....but for style and destructive power I personally prefer maces, axes and morning stars/flails. ;o)

Lets face it, the majority of swords do have a tendency to look boring.

Everything's fine so far. I'm feeling productive and looking forward to do something constructive.

hey Ethereal Sage!
i guess now it is a good thing. In greece i could go out and have much fun but i can't stand madness and crazyness in people. So, yeah, i came here, i don't have anything to do (yet, until uni opens) but i have a smile on my face! :) (peace at last)
Are you not back yet from holidays or?

I'm in my last week of 4 weeks of holidays, then no net for ages
Has been good to catch up with everyone here (on UM) and I'm enjoying the weather here, so all is good at the moment. Will we see more of you here until uni starts?

I just stepped on a Rhino beetle when getting gout of the car...I feel annoyed for not seeing it, but at the same time I feel immensely awful for almost killing a life due to my absence of awareness. It clinged to my bare foot as my automatic bodily instincts kicked in and tried to swat it away, but as soon as I had detached it, my emotional and mental states realised what I had almost done.

Are we doomed to continually having these small moments of realisation, only to dismiss them in the next moment?
