I agree, too OTT, still looks cool though.

Yeah, it doesn't look as good. The green took away some shadow and kind of makes it look flat. I was just messing with it here at work when I did that. It looks cool, but not as sickly-looking as the other one.

Now I need to change the font, I think the gradient clashes.

I don't think it's fluid enough. Everything looks separate, too distinct from each other. Some even looks like it's a cartoon.

Yeah but I Kinda like the cartoony look. I was gonna make it black n white to solve the fluid thing, im not sure. I like it. But I get what you mean....might fiddle with it later

Work in progress:

Cover for an album called '100 Years Of Solitude' - also to be released on 7" vinyl. The band were quite specific with some of the design ideas implemented, which was helpful for the most part. The cover is not yet complete but the bulk of the design and layout is done. Minor tweaks will ensue (such as slightly desaturating a few areas which are a little too pungently coloured at the moment) but nothing overly dramatic. Critical feedback encouraged.

Oh artnoir, I agree with fading. Those samples are most enjoyable.
