The most awaited album...

I don't care for the studio stuff they've done after Black, but by jingo they ruled at that gig. They may have lost it, recording-wise, but gig-wise they've never lost a step (as far as I know, seeing as I didn't see them any other time they toured here).

Im with Blitzy, even though I dont think they will ever make a masterpiece album again, im ALWAYS curious to hear what they do next anyway :)

Metallica
Bloodbath (awaiting with boner)
Opeth
Cradle of Filth (though I rarely think about them)
System of a Down are releasing their unreleased Toxicity songs... which I will get, because they are one of the only good numetal bands... along with Mudvayne... they better release a newbie too...

And... I dunno what else... I will just see what is out, and buy it...

I'd give both my left testicles to get my hands on Vinnie Vincent - Guitars From Hell so that's definitely my most eagerly awaited album. Also I'm looking forward to the re-recording of All Systems Go with Robert singing and the guitars re-done up to Vinnie's standards haha.

Just wondering what you guys are waiting for between now and this time next year.

I'm waiting for:

POS - The Perfect Element Part 2
Evergrey - Recreation Day
Symphony X - The Odyssey
OSI - OSI (This one sounds awesome!!!)
John Petrucci
Ark
Zero Hour
Fates Warning

WOW! You have FANTASTIC taste, my friend! I LOVE ALL THESE BANDS!!!!!!

Although on one sad note... I downloaded a track from OSI tonight... and it was extremely horrible.

I am also interested in what the new Metallica will sound like...

*ducks from rotten vegetables* :p

Wow this reply is a long time coming!!

I shall definitly check out Blaze.. "making metal note to remember to get some stuff"

And for Metallica... Im also interested in seeing what the hell they are going to put out next...

What's the Machine Head latest, Spawny? Are they gonna play metal again? Who's left the band? (referring to your post back from August)

Ahrue Luster left the band, he was trying to do more melodic stuff, which didnt fit the band, so he left. I think a guy from Vio-lence is doing the guitar for the touring, but they are saying they dont want another guitarist to join full time.

It sounds like (from what Robb has said) that they are going in a more metal direction, he even asked on his website forum what the fans would like to see on the next MH album, so I have high hopes for the next one! :D

At least he has the balls to do it! He won back a lot of respect from me when he did that!

Think about all the other bands who have lost their way, could you see Metallica or Megadeth ever doing that? :)

Supercharger isnt very good at all

Bulldozer rocks, but the rest was so average, and the lyrics were downright silly dammit!

I cant see the next album being worse than Supercharger :)

I really liked the first two albums, but not the latter two. They need to get their heaviness back......totally lost. There was lots of weak, twiddly guitar work on Supercharger, where with Logan there would have been a good riff.
