The new album title

I can't wait! I just wonder if there will be some parts with the deep vocals of old? I think it will be interesting if this album merges both old and new. Swedish lyrics will be great!

But Mr. V once mentianed that there will be 50% Swedish and 50% English lyrics.
As I understand it, that was for Balancing the Pendulum. When the choise was made to change the direction to a more metal and ethnic oriented path it was also decided that "the lyrics will this time be in Swedish".

I hope the lyrics be 100% swedish!!! it's more ethnic... I hope Mr.v sings some songs with the old style.... I miss that. the new vocal style is awesome (the vocal work is simply amazing!!!) but i miss the viking way (like otyg)

Very interesting. While I always preferred the sound of the newer material to the old, maybe this new album will combine the best of both..

Will the lyrical themes will be still dealing with technical science, or is it purely nature and pagan themes?

EDIt: and oh yeah, one thing I loved on TF and ÖS was the female vocals in Isjungfrun and Svältvinter.. any hope of hearing something similar again?

Official site says it will be finished recording after the summer, so it's still a couple of months away. How will we endure?

Apparently the lyrics will be all in Swedish too. :)

It will be a great action for me and others unlucky fans =)

Things change....people change.

Yes..especially when the terms and condition do. I mean I wrote some lyrics in swedish..and I just couldn't stop. It was very inspiring to write in swedish again, so therefore I did, simple as that.

vintersorg is one of the few bands where there are very clear lines of the different stages of the band. i find that rather cool

Way to simple... Cosmic Genesis hardly has anything in common with Focusing Blur, except for the word 'cosmos' maybe. ;)

but theres an obvious transition feel,, i mean,,just by the the title you know it isnt in the same vein as TF or OS

And Hedniskhjärtad has hardly anything in common with Ödemarkens Son musically... But both albums are, along with Till Fjälls, part of the old style and the latest 3 albums belong to the new direction. In my humble opinion Cosmic Genesis' further developement is Visions from the Spiral Generator and its developement is Focusing Blur. Not necessarily lyrically, though.
