The new pic thread

Do you happen to know the name/brand/whatever of those plugs you got, DS? I run into the same problems with the usual plugs I get (just the bass). I've been looking for some new plugs for when I actually start going to concerts again.

i havent had time to try them out yet, but my brother has some quite similar,
and he uses them with his band, and said they worked great.
The earplugs seem not to be on the website where I bought them anymore, but the package says "WestStar hearing protections and more, Ultratech Hi Fi"

MILLENIUM WS-20 ULTRATECH HÖRSCHUTZ this is the ones I have... they sent me this awfull kind of pink box, but Konrad's one is silver with a green cap :p
 
I don't usually make use of ear-plugs when going to shows as they often cut off some of the sounds and the volume gets too low to get the whole energy the band is trying to release to the audience and get back.. wearing ear-plugs makes me feel like isolated from the rest of the people attending the show.. I only use them when I have to.. for example in the press area when I take pics.. but that's it..

Well, seeing as I generally wind up standing directly in front of the biggest stack of... stacks... in the entire fucking place, I think I know why I'm pretty deaf at this point.

Although, it did work out for me one time in BB Kings when Stanne climbed out onto the stacks and sat down right in front of me, legs hanging into the crowd, over the security gate. It was pretty fucking cool. The guards were all pissed off because he wasn't supposed to be that close to the crowd. I guess they thought we'd hurt him or something.

Though why anyone would ever hurt Stanne I will never know...
