Behemoth's Demigod is one of my favorites of the year, but has yet to be released in the US, so I left it off the list.

On the "holy shit, I can't fucking believe I had to take this off the list" list: YOB,
Disillusion, Exodus, Pig Destroyer, Golem, In Battle, Anaal Naathrakh, Cult of Luna, Man Must Die, Transmission0

Favorite non-metal releases: PJ Harvey-Uh Huh Her, Beastie Boys-To the 5 Boroughs, Fantomas-Delirium Cordia, The Soundbyte-Rivers of Broken Glass, Jeff Buckley-Grace (Legacy Edition)

The new Bloodbath is quite different from Resurrection through carnage in that it has a much more modern approach, so don't miss it because you didn't like the previous album.

So you already got Mouth of the Architect? Mine should be here tomorrow. Also . . . by looking at my list, which of the releases on your list should I look into. Generally, the sicker or more insane the better. The one release I think you should check out is Damnation 'Destructo Evangelia'.

I have Damnation's Destructo Evangelia. I am not very fond of it and it is on my tradelist. Maybe it needs more time but, I duunnoo.

Yep, the MOuth of The Architect came in and is VERY good. The Worm is such a fucking good track. This release will/should be a lot higher but I have only had it for about 2 days now.

I'll get back to you in a sec about the other question.

1) Deathspell Omega- Si Monumentum Requires Circumspice
2) Drudkh- Autumn Aurora
3) Nasheim- Evighet/Undergång
4) Woods of Ypres- Pursuit of the Sun and Allure of the Earth

10) Blut Aud Nord- The Work Which Transforms God

Dude, I dont fucking know what to suggest to you since none of the releases on my list could be describes as "sick & insane." Sure they may be heavy and whatnot but most of them are very focused. I'm not huge on brutal death metal or grindcore as much as I once was. Although Pig Destroyer's Terrifyer is awesome and definitely INSANE, but you know that already because I think it already kicked your tits in. :loco:

Anybody into great music in general should make it a priority to check out any Reverend Bizarre that they can get their hands on. That's all.

2) Woods Of Ypres - The Pursuit Of The Sun & The Allure Of The Earth

15) Morgion - Cloaked By Ages, Crowned In Earth

I have a couple Reverend Bizarre releases. I like them a lot, but I'm not in a slow doom mood right now. Don't worry . . . I'll just keep watching your masturbating monkey to find out about a thing or two to listen to.

Im not trying to steal RC's thunder- as i think they did a good job making teir selections based on their tastes and expertise- I'm just curious what the non Rc list would look like.
I consider the forum and associated regulars just as much a part of Royal Carnage as the 'zine and writers, so I always look forward to everyone else's list as well. *shrug*

2) Dillinger Escape Plan – Miss Machine
Not only by my admission, but by many other critics’, ’Miss Machine’ has already gone down as a rebirth of Faith No More’s masterpiece, ‘Angel Dust’. Is it that good? Possibly . . . but only time will tell.
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally. I don't see how I can possibly ignore comments like that, SOLD.

Thanks for the differing opinions on the new Bloodbath, looks like I'll download a track or two to preview first. :D

Dude, don't buy into that hype. There is ZERO, I mean NIL resemblance whatsoever to Angel Dust. I have no fucking clue where that comment came from. Seriously. o_O
