what's wrong with saying "Jeg er rygg fra..."

Back has two meanings in Norwegian; "tilbake" and "rygg".
I'll show you the differences with some sentences.


- Carl got shot in the back
- Carl ble skutt i ryggen

- I'll be back in a few minutes
- Jeg er tilbake om noen få minutter


It was an understandable mistake though.
Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.

I think rygg means back as in the body part, not back as in brb.

Don't think so.

Rygg woulda been, but I have yet to see someone named rygg.

Ok, thanks for the info, what does Ryg mean by the way? I think that's Garm from Ulver' last name, Kristofer Ryg.
